AS a Parent/carer, i will:
Make sure my child attends school regularly and on time and notify the school if my child will be absent by 9:00am
Ensure that I do not take my child on holiday during term time
Make sure my child is dressed in the correct uniform for school
Communicate with the school, any concerns that I have about my child that may affect their ability to learn or behaviour in school
Make sure communication with the school is respectful, and that I make every reasonable effort to address my communications to the appropriate member of staff
Inform the academy of any changes to my contact details so that effective communication can be maintained
Read and follow trust and academy policies (available on the academy website)
Treat all members of the academy community with care and respect
Fully engage in all academy meetings and work together with the academy in order to achieve the best outcomes for my child
Read any communications sent home by the academy and respond where necessary
Encourage my child to try their best so they can reach their full potential
As A RIVERSIDE MEADOWS ACADEMY Pupil, I Will:
Arrive at school and my lessons every day on time and ready to learn
Wear the correct school uniform
Take part in the morning routines (screening) when I arrive at school
Try my best in lessons and ask for help if I need it
Behave in an appropriate and safe manner on the way to and from school
Speak to an adult about any issues I’m experiencing that may affect my work or behaviour
Speak to an adult about any concerns I may have about my/ other pupils’ safety or bullying related issues
Treat all members of the school community with care and respect
Understand and follow the school’s behaviour policy
Look after school equipment, and show respect for the school environment and local community
Keep a safe online presence, including using the internet safety
