Christmas 2023 at Riverside Meadows - St Neots

As ever, Christmas has been such an exciting time of year. We are all so proud of everyone’s achievements this term and this year has been a real celebration.

The school looks beautiful with all our staff making a real effort to make their rooms sparkle.

We began with our Christmas Jumper Day in support of Save the Children and the whole school was a festive Winter-woollen-land. There have been some delicious smells coming from the food room, as Alison has been making gingerbread and other festive treats with the students.

Al wrote and performed a wonderful pantomime about the power of our voices and he looked fabulous as a dame (oh, yes, he did!). Well done to everyone who performed. It was such a pleasure to welcome parents and carers to our Enterprise event on the same day.

Into the final week, and we had a delicious Christmas dinner, prepared and devoured on site closely followed by our talent show where students sang, danced, beat-boxed and impressed with knowledge on specialist subjects.

We have a very talented staff team too, delighting with singing from our esteemed Louisa and closing the event with the Staff Choir!

Not forgetting the launch of our by Students, for Students Riverside Times school newspaper. This festive offering is available here, and we can't wait to see the next edition.

Phew! Well done to everyone for getting involved and taking part in so many activities. Wishing everyone a very, very happy Christmas and every best wish for a joyous 2024.
