World Mental Health Day 2023

Today at Riverside Meadows - St Neots we will be focusing on World Mental Health Day. It is a day to talk about mental health and to show everyone that mental health matters.

"As Senior Mental Health Lead, I strongly believe in this year’s world mental health day theme of “mental health is a human right”. It is so important that we are all there for each other and that all staff, learners, and parents feel listened to. Equally, it is so important to know how we can take care of ourselves. This year we will be focusing on different coping skills we can use, thinking about all of the amazing personality traits we have that make us who we are, and everything else we already do to maintain our mental health." (Senior Mental Health Lead, Amy Sewell)

"Here at Riverside Meadows - St Neots we feel that nothing is more important than listening and talking. We offer supervision to staff so that they have clear minds when they leave, we are always willing to try new ideas and we try our utmost to be a team and to care for everyone.

We aim to be welcoming to visitors and to create a warm and nurturing environment where it is clear how proud of our young people and our staff we are." (Assistant Head Teacher, Claire Heseltine)
